In the summer of 1999, Ruth was in Toronto for the convention of the AICI (Association of Image Consultants International). Jim Richards, who has a show on CFRB, 1010 had found Ruth 'on the web' in April of 1999 and emailed her that he would like to interview her on his show.
Ruth took time off from her convention to be on Jim's show and to answer 'etiquette' questions from people listening to the show and calling in.
She was also on the show via the phone a few months later.
